Brifen WRSF remains operational after most vehicular impacts and thus offers continued protection. Many impacts are not even reported because, happily, motorists are often still able to simply back out of the Brifen and drive away. Such results are most unlikely with rigid fencing. During an impact with a Brifen WRSF, a small number of the specially designed and socketed Brifen fence posts fall in a controlled collapse. Reinstatement is easy. After debris clearing and putting site-specific traffic management in place, as few as two maintenance staff may complete the entire Brifen reinstatement - usually 6 to 8 posts - in well under an hour. Typically, the replacement of one Brifen line posts takes less than 2 minutes.
